INGEMATION ENGINEERING gives training course on the “Central Time System” developed for the Saudi corvettes.

The Training Programme “Operation and Onboard Maintenance Training Course” is aimed at training the crew responsible for the maintenance of the “Central Time System” installed on the five corvettes that Navantia, San Fernando has manufactured for the Saudi Arabian Navy (RSNF, Royal Saudi Naval Forces).

Last Friday, the 21st of January, we held the second training session at the Navantia Training Center (NTC) facilities. There are six sessions in total. The first five sessions are oriented to operation and maintenance tasks on board, and the sixth session is oriented to maintenance of our supply range equipment, on land.

The objective of this course is to provide the crew with all the theoretical and practical knowledge for the correct operation and maintenance of the “Central Time Systems”, which have been custom designed for the Saudi corvettes. Each “Central Time System” is composed of an NTP time server, TS19-SR and several NTP Time Repeaters (digital clocks).

At the end of each session, course participants take a test to check the knowledge acquired. The next training session is scheduled to take place on 04 April 2022.
